I love this stage in life. I love that my kids are all old enough that we could play outside for an hour in the snow. I know it seems silly but I have looked forward to this for a long time! Don't get me wrong. I LOVE babies and enjoyed all the blessings of having a little one in the house, but I just truly feel ready for this stage in my life. It feels good!

Ryan has been making the kids into burritos and they love it.

 

 

Snow

I just have to say that I love the snow. Today we took the "long way" home from church. The trees were breath taking with snow on each branch and the fields were so beautiful with clean white snow. I love it.

Snow Day

Days like today call for a yummy bowl of homemade soup!  Last night I made Lasagna Soup.  The recipe is from the latest issue of Family Fun Magazine.  I love this magazine!  It has so many cute ideas!  The soup was a hit with its cheesy goodness!  I did modify this recipe a little.  I only used one onion and 1 lb. of italian sausage!  Yummy!

Oh, the weather outside is frightful!

Cleveland weather has arrived in full style.  It is a beautiful  27 degrees outside with lots of wind and snow.  This weather always makes me want a cup of hot chocolate!
