Sick

The plague has been going around our house for the last little while. Right now two kids have strep and one has an ear infection. This really has been a pretty healthy winter for us so I'll take it.

January

January is almost over!  This month has flown by!

This month I turned 29!  It is official that my twenty somethings are almost over!  My baby is turning one next month and is crawling everywhere when he hasn't pulled himself up next to something!  He melts my heart!  I just love that little guy!

This month has been full of lots of these!  The worst cold/flu has whipped through our whole family!  Which turned into a double ear infection for Lincoln and I have had a sinus infection like it is going out of style!  I am thankful though that we are MUCH healthier than last January!!!  At least when it is cold out like it is you don't mind being snuggled up in your jammies and pulling up your favorite quilt!

This month we have discovered Zooreka!  We love this game!  I LOVE babies!  But I LOVE that my kids are getting old enough to play games like this!  We have had lots of laughs and fun with this game this January!

The snow blower picture is for our wonderful neighbor who without being asked surprises us now and then and snow blows our walk and driveway!  We feel SO blessed to live next to wonderful neighbors on either side of us!

Crazy Day

Yesterday I decided to take Kaitlyn and Eve to the doctor because they've had a cough and runny nose.  Well, they both had junk in their lungs and oxygen levels weren't too great.  So we got to take home this nifty machine.  I told the doctor that Reuben had the cough too and the doctor thought I should bring him in too.  So that afternoon, I went back to the doctor with all my kids, and found out that Reuben has it too.  Luckily Lincoln has been healthy knock on wood.  After having been on the medicine for only a day all the kids are sounding better than yesterday.  The doctor thought Kaitlyn and Reuben could go back to school tomorrow.  Here are some picts of my sick kiddos.  

Sick Sunday

Reuben and Evie have pretty good colds going on, so we stayed home from church.  Reuben wanted to show me how he drew a picture yesterday, and then we each made one together.

Here is Reuben's piece of art.  He showed me that the technique he used to make the water was to make a lot of swirls and loops and then fill them in.  In his picture the wave is coming up over the boat.Here is my picture.  It was a lot of fun to color together.Here is Evie's.  Reuben helped out with the brown part but the rest is her original creation.
