My worst fear has happened!!!  I went down to the basement and turned on the light to get my mop bucket.  I looked in the sink and two little eyes were looking up at me!  It was a MOUSE!!!  I have never had to deal with mice before!!!  What works what doesn't?  Help please!!!  I don't think that I am going to sleep tonight!

Mini Trip To Pennsylvania

This week we took a trip over to Pennsylvania so Ryan could check out some programs for Residency out there. It was beautiful out there! I love the rolling hills and all the GREEN! Our first stop was to Allentown. Ryan was visiting the program all day so the kids and I checked out the town. We ended up spending the whole day at the Crayola Factory.

Lincoln and Eve loved the glass wall that the kids were encouraged to color on.

Reuben's creation

The kids were able to play with some modeling clay.  The clay was really cool.  You could color on it with markers and the clay had a marshmallow type texture.  After you made your creation it air dried in a day or less.

With your admission to the Crayola Factory you could also visit the Canal Museum which was on the upper two floors.  The kids loved this!  At the end of the day they said this was their favorite part of the day which surprised me!  There was a long river where each child was given a boat to run through a series of locks.

They had a fake mule which you could put on the bridle and other gear.

They had a ton of hands on play areas for the kids which they loved.

I think that one of the reasons they loved the Canal Museum so much was also that it wasn't so busy.  The Crayola Factory was really overrun with people.  The kids had almost free reign of the Canal Museum.

The next day was spent in Harrisburg.  While Ryan visited the program there the kids and I checked out Chocolate World in Hershey.  The kids eyes were huge.  They loved this.  I forgot to take pictures here!

Ryan only took a couple of hours at this program and then we made the trip back home.  It was a fun little trip!

Kaitlyn Gives Her First Talk

Kaitlyn gave her first talk today in Sacrament Meeting.  She was asked to talk about her Dad.  So here is her talk!  She did great!!

Here are 10 reasons why I love my Daddy

1.  That he is secretly a monster…a tickle monster

2.  That he is very funny

3.   That he comes to all my baseball games each and every one

4.  That we have family sleepovers almost every weekend and watch a movie and stay up past our bedtime

5.  That he will help me with fun crafts, like making a clay bear

6.  That we takes me fishing and I don’t have to touch the fish

7.  He pushes me really high on the swings

8.  He’ll go on long bike rides with me all around the block

9.  He gives us fun piggy back rides, my favorite is when he pretends I am a sack of potatoes

10.     My Daddy is the BEST In the whole universe!

Where Does The Time Go?

I have not been the best at blogging lately!  Life has been crazy but in a good way!  Here's the run down on what's been happening in the Ellsworth household:

*  My handsome Husband came home after being gone for 2 straight months!

*  I finished up Reuben's class quilt for his teacher (pictures coming) and made a class book like this one for Kaitlyn's teacher

*  Kaitlyn and Reuben finished up the school year and had a lot of fun at their end of the year class parties

*  Baseball season has started at our house so we have three to four games at least a week

*  We went fishing to mark off the beginning of summer

*  We had our end of the year girl scout ceremony in our backyard

*  I have started up my wilton III class and have learned how to do fondant on a cake (Still need lots of practice though)

*  We had our 2nd annual street wide garage sale (Pretty big disappointment this year!!)

*  Weaned Lincoln :(

*  Celebrated our TENTH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!!!
